a 20GB patch, pending the Viking Age Discovery Tour

Ubisoft is preparing to launch the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Title Update tomorrow Tuesday 5 October, starting at 14:00 Italian time. The download phase won’t exactly be a walk in the park, as the update weighs in at a whopping 20GB.

In spite of the rather demanding figure, it seems that the patch does not immediately bring any particular news in terms of content. On the contrary, the update is limited to correcting the functioning of the post-launch added abilities, which should now correctly affect Eivor’s stats. On top of that, the update modifies the difficulty menu to make each of the options clearer, also improves the menu filters and fixes a number of game-breaking bugs.

Useful interventions to improve the quality of life of the game, but which certainly do not justify the 20GB to download. These, in fact, are due to the preparation of the Discovery Tour: Viking Age which will be introduced in effect on October 19th. The educational DLC will allow the curious to explore and interact with the history and culture of the world of the Viking Age, which took place in Norway and England in the ninth century. Ubisoft recently released the updated Assassin’s Creed Valhalla roadmap, which seems to leave the doors open for the arrival of a fall expansion.
