Available from last August 25, 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One, Psychonauts 2 marked the return of the Double Fine series 16 years after the release of the progenitor. The wait has paid off, as Raz’s new adventure has garnered valuable feedback from both fans and critics.
To celebrate the results obtained, a new trailer focused on the game was released, with various comments from some of the most important international newspapers, who were very impressed by the latest effort of the study led by Tim Schafer. The movie also offers us the opportunity to take a further look at the spectacular visuals and the unique style of the production, which stands out as one of the most intriguing 3D Platforms currently available, also present in the Xbox Game Pass catalog. However, there were also some unpleasant situations, such as a review bombing on Metacritic and Steam, carried out in particular by Russian players due to the lack of translation of the game into their language. On the matter, the authors were clear: at the moment Double Fine does not have the budget to translate Psychonauts 2 into other languages.
