Not just one-handed swords, in the immediate future of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla there is also Level Scaling, a new setting that will allow you to adjust the difficulty of the game experience.
Through the official channels of the series, Ubisoft has announced that the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch on July 27 will introduce a new setting that will allow you to adjust the scaling of the level of enemies. The options available to players will be five: in addition to that of “Default” and present in the game since launch, there will also be: “Off”, “Constant”, “More difficult” and “Nightmare”.
With the “Off” option, the level will never increase beyond that intended by the territory, consequently the enemies will be knocked out in the blink of an eye by a heavily powered Eivor. The “Constant” option will increase the level of the opponents in step with that of the protagonist, while “Tougher” and “Nightmare” will be aimed at players looking for a really tough challenge.
Level Scaling will be introduced with the patch on Tuesday, July 27, the same patch that will most likely also introduce one-handed swords in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In the meantime, we await information regarding the second expansion entitled The Siege of Paris.
