Beta maps, modes, weapons and upgrades unveiled

A few days after the opening of the Call of Duty Vanguard Beta servers, the development team has decided to publish a long post on the official website to reveal to the players what will be the contents of the second test phase and the improvements made thanks to the feedback received on the occasion of the Alpha.

Sledgehammer Games has in fact confirmed that it has changed a number of aspects of the shooter thanks to the advice received from players who have tried the Alpha. It seems that the main measures concern the lighting system and some visual effects whose modifications should make the opponents more recognizable. Other improvements are also in the works and will arrive in conjunction with the final version of Call of Duty Vanguard.

This is instead the list of all the contents that we can find in the Vanguard Beta:

  • Hill of Champions
  • Royal Hotel
  • Gavutu
  • Red Star
  • Eagle’s Nest (coming on the second weekend of the Beta)

  • Hill of Champions (Solo, Couples and Threesome)
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Conquest
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Patrol (from the first Saturday of the Beta)
  • Search and Destroy (coming in the second weekend of the Beta)

  • Possibility to increase the level of the weapons up to 30
  • PlayStation players will have access to two additional slots for creating custom classes (in total there will be 12 on Sony consoles, 10 on other platforms)

Operators (each with a unique animation for the finishers)

  • Daniel Takeyatsu
  • Roland Zeimet
  • Lucas Riggs
  • Polina Petrova
  • Wade Jackson
  • Arthur Kingsley

It also seems that there will be three different options related to the number of players present in the game, namely Tactical for 6 against 6, Assault for games involving 20-28 players and Blitz for matches with a maximum number of users equal to 48.

While waiting for the Beta to start with the first phase dedicated to PlayStation users only on 10 September 2021, we remind you that on our pages you will find the tried and tested Alpha of Call of Duty Vanguard.
