Our analysis of Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin gives us the image of a great adventure in JRPG sauce. We explain the reasons for this in our review, waiting for the title to come out on July 9 on PC and exclusively on Nintendo Switch console.
As ventilated by Famitsu’s perfect score on MH Stories 2, Capcom’s new role-playing experience set in the fantasy dimension of Monster Hunter hits the mark both in terms of narration and, above all, for everything that revolves around the gameplay experience.
Riding the proud creatures of Wings of Ruin, lovers of the genre can in fact draw on a content offer worthy of a major chapter of Monster Hunter, with lots of equipment to acquire, an engaging story in which to immerse themselves for dozens of hours and a combat system that, despite all the limitations of a spin-off born on 3DS, manages to smooth out the sharp corners of a gameplay with still largely unexplored potential.
The landing on PC and Nintendo Switch, moreover, “threatens” to be only the first stage of a long journey that the Japanese developers promise to make us go through the next few months, and this thanks to the rich post-launch support of Wings of Ruin. . In the meantime, we leave you in the company of the special video that stands out at the beginning of the article and our review of Monster Hunter Stories 2 by Antonello “Kirito” Bello.
