Over the last few hours, Valve’s official YouTube channel has welcomed a new trailer dedicated entirely to Steam Deck. The movie in question reviews the various features of the portable console of the authors of Half-Life and also allows you to get an idea of how some titles run.
The trailer is short, but it manages with great clarity to communicate to the public who does not yet know the portable gaming machine what its main features are and shows in a matter of seconds the predisposition of the keys, the slot for the microSD and the presence of motion sensors, which can also be used to manage the view inside the first-person shooters as an alternative to the touchpad or analog stick.
One of the most interesting aspects of the video published by Valve is the presence of sequences during which you can see the games in motion and in addition to the already known Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Control we can get an idea of how The Ascent, Prey also run , DOOM Eternal, Death Stranding and some independent productions. Sure, this is off-screen video, but it’s still a way to start evaluating the console’s performance.
Before leaving you to the trailer, we remind you that just a few days ago it was confirmed that the Steam Deck dock will have no impact on performance.
