For some time now there have been rumors of a possible crossover between Destiny 2 and Halo. If the operation were to really materialize it would undoubtedly be a very important event for the history of Bungie and for all those players who have been passionate about the works of the studio since the time of Halo Combat Evolved.
According to a Bungie notepad document, which emerged on the net thanks to the work of dataminers, the development company is planning to launch a special pack on the occasion of the celebrations of its 30th anniversary. This has already become known to the community a few months ago, but recently some interesting news have emerged online that seem to be related to Microsoft’s historic IP.
The new findings suggest that the pack in question will be available starting December 21 this year and will introduce four PvP maps (two unreleased and two from Destiny 1), along with a new PvP mode called “Hardware”. In addition to this, it seems that the Destiny 2 / Halo crossover will take hold, and the document mentions some of the weapons and items that will be possible to obtain during the duration of the special event (a sniper rifle from Halo, the gravity hammer, the Magnum CE, armor set from the 343i shooter and more).
All this was also confirmed by the insider Nyxara, who in the past had correctly anticipated details on the Beyond the Light expansion and the subclasses of Destiny 2. In any case, we recommend that you take the news with due caution while waiting for any confirmations or denials from Bungie. Who knows that the first details may not come on the occasion of the official presentation of the expansion The Queen of Whispers scheduled for August 24.
