FIFA 22 exclusive partner of Lega Serie A, here are the Italian teams included

As announced in recent months, EA Sports today confirms an exclusive partnership with the Italian Serie A League. The new agreement valid from FIFA 22 will allow Electronic Arts to include 14 teams from the top flight exclusively in the game, the agreement also includes the EA Sports Player of the Month award.

Furthermore, starting from the 2022/2023 season Electronic Arts is Title Sponsor and Partner of the Italian Super Cup which will change its name to EA Sports Supercup. FIFA 22 will therefore include 16 officially licensed Serie A teams: Bologna FC 1909, Cagliari Calcio, Empoli FC, ACF Fiorentina, Genoa CFC, Hellas Verona FC, FC Internazionale Milano, AC Milan, SSC Napoli, US Salernitana 1919, UC Sampdoria, US Sassuolo Calcio, Spezia Calcio, Torino FC, Udinese Calcio and Venice.

The mentioned teams will be represented with real and updated names, logos, badges and roses. Juventus, Atalanta, Rome and Lazio will instead adopt the names Piemonte Calcio, Bergamo Calcio, Roma FC and Latinium, the names and appearance of the players will not undergo modifications or variations of any kind.

In addition, the birth of the Player of the Month award for FIFA FUT 22 has been announced: “For the first time in FUT 22 comes the Serie A Player of the Month award, a special player item upgraded to reflect that month’s performance.”

FIFA 22 will be available from October 1st on all platforms, early access from September 27th by booking the Ultimate Edition. EA Play subscribers will be able to play FIFA 22 from 22 September.
