On the occasion of a chat with Mike Brown, creative director of Forza Horizon 5, we had the opportunity to learn many new details on the awaited racing game developed by Playground Games and in the pipeline on Windows 10 PC and Xbox Series X | S console and Xbox One.
Among the various topics that came to the surface, there was also talk of the technical sector. Forza Horizon 5 is undoubtedly one of the most cutting-edge and graphically impressive products we’ve seen in recent years, but how will the racing game play out on the Xbox console? According to Mike Brown, the target on Series X is that of 4K at 30fps, but the creative director has confirmed the presence of a performance mode with which players who prefer the fluidity of the game will be able to whiz at 60fps. Of course, it must be taken into account that the glance, which has been able to impress us so much in recent months, will inevitably have to compromise and give up some graphic features. At the moment we do not know more, but surely everything will be clearer near the launch.
Forza Horizon 5 will be available starting November 9 on PC, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. Microsoft is back to show the game in action at the Xbox Showcase. For more information, please refer to our new Forza Horizon 5 Preview.
