
A few days after the debut of their new shooter, the team of Cold Iron Studios offers some additional details on what will be the characteristics of the production set in the rich imagery of the Xenomorph.
In particular, the software house confirms that buyers of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version will have the opportunity to proceed for free with the next-gen upgrade of Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Through a dedicated patch, the shooter will update to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S versions respectively, with the new hardware that will offer a resolution in 4K and frame rate at 60 fps. Also at no additional cost, players will also be able to have access to content introduced through post-launch support, which will be structured in Seasons and will include additional gameplay mechanics.
Coming next Tuesday 24 August on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Aliens: Fireteam Elite can be played in company, thanks to the online cooperative mode. However, it will also be possible to enjoy the experience offline and alone. The shooter, Cold Iron Studios guarantees, will not include microtransactions related to pay-to-win mechanics or loot boxes.
