free weekend from November 18th to counter Halo and Battlefield?

There are no confirmations yet but according to a leaked image on Twitter, this weekend there will be a free Call of Duty Vanguard weekend, the first since the launch of the game on November 5th around the world.

From November 18-22, players will have free access to multiplayer and Zombie modes, while the campaign will not be available in the weekend free trial. The date chosen may not be random since Battlefield 2042 is released on November 19, moreover the Beta of Halo Infinite has just been released with enormous success (over 200,000 players on Steam for Halo Infinite) and undoubtedly the game of 343 has all the cards in order to “gnaw” the public to the productions of Activision and Electronic Arts, with both games that risk being partially overshadowed by the return of the Master Chief.

Call of Duty Vanguard sold 40% less than Cold War in the UK, recording the worst launch of the series in Great Britain in the last 14 years, numbers that Activision must necessarily take into consideration to look to the future of the brand. In any case, the publisher has not yet confirmed the Call of Duty Vanguard free weekend, we look forward to learning more.
