God of War dad jokes with Cyberpunk

After commenting on Activision Blizzard’s sexism and harassment scandal, Cory Barlog returned to social media and surprised his many followers by showing himself committed to playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam Deck … or not?

The Game Director of Sony Santa Monica, and therefore of God of War and of the highly anticipated sequel God of War 2 on PS4 and PS5, has in fact piqued the curiosity of his fans and of the many professionals in the sector who carefully follow his work with a tweet in which, referring to his wife Anna and his daughter Helo, he tells how “I have to kill time while Anna is on a date and Helo plays Link’s Awakening. And then I start playing Cyberpunk 2077 on this sweet new Steam Unreleased deck and ‘totally real’ … “.

In the preview of the photos shared by Barlog, in fact, you can see Cyberpunk 2077 running on a portable console, and after reading the statements of Kratos’ father many have exchanged the system portrayed in those images for a special version (maybe a devkit or unreleased model) of Steam Deck.

Aware of the doubts fed in a slice of its community, Barlog promptly returned to social media to reveal the mystery and explain that it was a joke: “What you see is a Win 3 GPD, not Steam Deck. They are not enough yet. cool to have one already. ” The console shown is therefore GPD Win 3, the portable mini-PC belonging to the same category of technological products to which AYA Neo is already part and in which, hopefully from the end of 2021, we will also see the same Steam Deck enter. Before leaving to the comments, we invite you to read our latest special on Steam Deck, the PC that plays console.
