The curators of the PlayStation social profiles tickle the curiosity of fans of Jin Sakai’s action epic by sharing new, evocative images of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut that show the great variety of explorable scenarios of Iki Island.
The digital postcards proposed by Sony are the plastic representation of the work carried out by Sucker Punch to expand the playful, narrative and content perimeter of the original Ghost of Tsushima.
Once landed on the white shores of Iki, our alter-ego will have to visit a wild and lawless land marked by years of wars fought by the islanders in the name of their independence.
The exploration of the different regions and biomes into which the Iki open world scenario will be divided, therefore, will not be an end in itself: the upheavals caused by the invasion of the Mongol warriors will be only the latest destabilizing factors of an area already plagued by the endemic presence of pirates, mad monks, smugglers and abominations that haunt the caves.
The release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is scheduled for August 20 on PS4 and PlayStation 5. In case you missed it, here is our special on the news of the Director’s Cut of Ghost of Tsushima, starting of course with the unpublished contents related to the expansion that will lead Jin to Iki Island.
