Not satisfied with the media hype aroused by his latest rumors about what, in his opinion, will be the new PS5 exclusive from FromSoftware, the well-known leaker Shpeshal_Nick says he is certain that Sony has already started the development of the many times rumored Sly Cooper 5.
In the days leading up to his latest podcast on XboxEra, the insider interacted with the Reddit forum visitors to share anticipations on the fifth “major” chapter of the now historic action adventure series created by Sucker Punch.
According to the information gathered by his anonymous sources inside SIE, Shpeshal_Nick explains in fact that “I don’t know if it will interest you, but I have some rumors about it. I don’t know if the Sucker Punch team is involved in the project or not, but I’ve heard that ‘someone’ is already making Sly 5. Sure, having a game similar to Sucker Punch developed would make more sense, yet I keep hearing that they don’t seem to be involved. “
According to the well-known XboxEra leaker, therefore, Sly Cooper 5 would already be in development but, presumably, not at the PlayStation Studios subsidiary currently working on Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. To those who follow us, we remind you that in January 2020 the name of Sly Cooper 5 was mentioned by two retailers, only to be promptly removed from the stores in question (in this case, InstantGaming and Press-Start).
