The announcement was in the air for some time thanks to the various teasers of THQ Nordic, but the definitive confirmation now seems to have arrived: the remake of the second episode of Destroy All Humans will take place, as revealed by a leak that emerged on the net in these last minutes.
The leak in question comes directly from the PlayStation Twitter account, with a tweet removed a few minutes after its publication. The impression is that the announcement came a few days in advance, especially if we consider that THQ Nordic is planning a special event to celebrate its first 10 years of history.
In the post now deleted, reference is made to Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, a title adopted by this new remake of the crazy series that allows us to play the role of a murderous alien. The trailer with which THQ Nordic is preparing to present its new restoration work to the public has even popped up on YouTube.
Interestingly, within the leak that involved NVIDIA GeForce Now not only had the name of “Destroy All Humans 2 Remake” already appeared, but also that of Destroy All Humans 3. That the publisher is therefore testing the ground with these remakes to then launch a whole new chapter, or a further remake? In any case, we are waiting for the official announcement, which should arrive during the event on Friday 17 September.
