modders rebel against Take Two and proceed legally

It seems that the modders who were working on the remakes of Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto Vice City will try to thwart Take-Two in front of a judge.

For the uninitiated, about fourteen users had got their hands on the source code of the two chapters of the Rockstar Games series and were working on their improved versions not only graphically but also functionally, since the goal of these modders it was also to improve camera management, controller support and much more. Their work, however, was interrupted by the lawyers of the publisher of Grand Theft Auto, who ordered the modders to give up the project for copyright infringement. In the last few hours, however, the modders in question have decided to respond to Take-Two’s allegations and it is likely that the lawsuit will go on for months, although it is unlikely that users will be able to overwhelm the publisher’s lawyers.

Waiting to find out how the dispute between the two interested parties will end, we remind you that on our pages you will find the review of Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy The Definitive Edition. Did you know that the first image of GTA 6 could be hiding in GTA Trilogy?
