more than 150 developers on the first expansion but it’s too early to talk about it

During the latest financial meeting with shareholders, the CEO of CD Projekt confirmed that the Polish studio is working on expansions of Cyberpunk 2077, with the first “Major DLC” currently in production with 160 developers working on the additional content.

In any case, it is clarified how the studio is continuing to improve Cyberpunk 2077 with patches and updates, to date a part of the team is developing new updates, 160 developers are working on the first expansion and a team of 70 elements is managing a project not yet announced.

At the moment it is too early to talk about the first expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 and other possible projects of the company (not necessarily related to the franchise), which will be shown at the right time, or when there will be material to be presented to the public and when the team will have decided on the launch windows, so as to be sure not to announce dates that will later be postponed.

CD Projekt then reiterated that the next-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will arrive this year even if, being still in development, the plans could change and a postponement to next year is not entirely excluded, if this will serve to improve quality and minimize technical problems.
