Only a few lucky players will have noticed that this morning PlayStation 5 is back on sale on the GameStopZing website. The famous chain has launched a surprise shadow drop, without anticipating anything, hence the amazement in accessing the site and running into the virtual queue.
GameStopZing has put on sale a few units (we do not know exactly how many pieces were available) of PS5 bundled with three games and two accessories to choose from a selection, a complete package already proposed in the past in the weekly drops and which allows you to take home everything you need to start playing in the best way. Unfortunately the console sold out within a few minutes and at the moment it is no longer available for purchase, we do not know when new stocks will be back on sale, in fact there are currently no communications from GSZ.
GameStopZing is one of the most punctual Italian retailers as regards the restock of PlayStation 5, for months it has been trying to offer weekly drops with new stocks, while the situation linked to other physical and online retailers seems more complex. Sony’s Jim Ryan himself said he was not very confident about a possible increase in PS5 production, the stock problems could therefore last at least for the whole year and according to some analysts they will continue for a good part of 2022.
