not just Project Condor, a new high-budget game is on the way

Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games have renewed their collaboration to expand the Control universe, the two companies have announced the multiplayer spin-off Project Condor but this is not the only novelty in the pipeline for the future of the saga.

Project Condor will be a co-op multiplayer game (four players) set in the world of Control, developed with the Northlight Engine and coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X. The two companies are also working on a new high-level Control game. budget as part of plans for franchise expansion.

Control has sold over two million copies generating revenues of 70 million euros, a game of enormous commercial success on which 505 Games has wanted to focus strongly and will continue to do so also in the future: after a collaboration lasting over four years, Remedy and 505 have extended the partnership with the aim of creating a real long-term franchise.

The head of Control, Mikael Kasurinen, has published a message for the community assuring that there are big plans for the future of the series, it is still early to talk about it but the Finnish team is working to the best of its ability to take the IP towards new horizons. In August we celebrate the second anniversary of the game and there will be news on the official merchandising, for other announcements we will have to wait for a later time.
