Pokémon, the ninth generation is approaching? New game in the pipeline for The Pokémon Company

With two new chapters of the franchise already on the way, it seems that The Pokémon Company is working behind the scenes on another game in the series dedicated to Nintendo’s monsters. This is at least what transpires from the Linkedin profile of a member of the company.

As you can see through the screenshot that we have reported below, among the projects in which The Pokémon Company is currently engaged there is also “an unannounced Pokémon game”. We know well how Nintendo has already revealed to the public Pokémon Shining Diamond and Shining Pearl, the remakes of the historic chapters originally published in 2006, and Pokémon Legends Arceus, the first exponent of a new series characterized by a drift more action and advanced RPG mechanics inspired by Monster. Hunter Stories.

The common hope, at this point, is to soon see a new episode that finally presents us with the ninth generation of Pokémon. It is very likely that Game Freak and The Pokémon Company are shaping the new wave of monsters, however Nintendo continues to remain inscrutably silent, possibly also not to steal the show from the games of the series already announced.

While waiting to learn more, we remind you that Pokémon Shining Diamond and Shining Pearl will arrive on November 19 on the Switch, while Pokémon Arceus Legends will always be available exclusively on the hybrid console starting from January 28, 2022.
