problems with online features on PS5 and PS4

It seems that the PlayStation Network is currently down, with Sony’s infrastructure not allowing, among other things, to play online on PS5, PS4, PS Vita and PlayStation 3 consoles.

The problems seem to affect the PS Network in all its aspects, and you could therefore run into some problems even using Sony’s streaming gaming platform, the PlayStation Now, or in an attempt to explore the contents of the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Video. In particular, as regards the “Games and Social” section, we read on the official pages of the service: “You may have difficulty starting games, apps or network functions. We are trying to solve the problem quickly. Thanks for your patience”. The beginning of the problems dates back to more than an hour ago, but the Sony teams are in short working to try to restore the functionality of the PlayStation Network as soon as possible.

Among the reports of the players, we also discover that several of these are not even able to start a title in digital format, since the console in question is unable to connect to the Internet and verify the licenses correctly. The situation is unfolding and we will not fail to notify you as soon as there are updates from Sony. Have you encountered problems in the last few hours with the PS Network?
