During QuakeCon 2021, Bethesda has also given space to Deathloop, the new intriguing production by Arkane Lyon. The French software house, despite being part of the Xbox Game Studios, is preparing to publish the title on PC in September and exclusively on the PlayStation 5 console.
In the company of the authors of the action in the first person, we can discover new background on the character of Julianna Blake, a face that today remains rather enigmatic in the eyes of the players. We know that the lethal killer will often and willingly invade our Colt during his raids, giving life to a real PvP in case he is a real player (otherwise Julianna will be controlled by the CPU). However, we don’t know why she is pursuing Colt.
Arkane’s narrative director explains to us that everything will be clearer to us when we undertake the first stages of the game, in which what is in common between the two protagonists of Deathloop will be explained. The study also specifies that, while based on jokes, lightness and jokes, the relationship between Colt and Julianna hides something deeper and more layered. For all the other details, we refer you to the long video that you find at the beginning.
Recall that Deathloop will be available on PC and PlayStation 5 starting from September 14th. The game has recently entered the Gold phase and there will therefore be no more postponements. The exclusive console held by Sony will last for a full year from the original release, and it is likely that the title will reach Microsoft shores starting from the end of 2022.
