New Wave Toys announced on Thursday that the next classic game in its line of premium miniature arcade cabinets is Q*bert, with the Q*bert X RepliCade set to be a 1/6-scale recreation of the 1982 hit game.

The latest arcade cabinet from the company will feature a diagonally mounted four-way joystick, a fully-functional mini knocker coil that thumbs when Q*bert falls off of the pyramid, and is fully playable. The cabinet is available to preorder now, with New Wave offering a limited-time preorder price of $129.99, with a special, limited-edition premium Q*bert X RepliCade: Warren Davis Edition also available to preorder for $149.99.

Both versions of the arcade cabinet have been crafted with the same meticulous attention to details that the other New Wave cabinets have been known for, and the cabinet itself also features the ability to tweak the difficulty of the game thanks to DIP switches, so if the original mode is too tough, you can always adjust things. The arcade cabinet also plays the previously unreleased sequel, Faster Harder More Challenging Q*bert, which offers an even tougher experience.

Preorders for both editions of the cabinet are live now over on New Wave Toys’ website, with shipping estimated to occur in Q4 2021.
