Quake Remastered, released last August to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the historic series, has received a “next-gen” upgrade that will delight owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S consoles.
Already including the base game together with its two expansions and two other DLCs made by Machine Games (authors of Wolfenstein The New Order), Quake Remastered thus exploits the new generation hardware, enriching itself with interesting news related to the technical sector. To be precise, the update introduces the ability to play in 4K resolution and up to 120fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Also introduced full support for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the PS5’s DualSense and Xbox Play Anywhere, thanks to the which you can freely switch between one Xbox platform and another.
The update is completely free for all those who have already purchased their copy of Quake Remastered on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One (the update is also available in the Game Pass version). All instructions for making the switch to the next-gen version are listed on the official Bethesda website.
