Resident Evil 4 VR shows itself in 30 minutes of gameplay on Oculus Quest 2

Two steps away from launch, a new gameplay video uploaded from the Pocky YouTube channel allows us to take a deeper look at Resident Evil 4 VR, the Virtual Reality re-edition of Capcom’s legendary horror game.

The video lasting about 30 minutes that you can take a look at at the beginning is useful to get a preliminary idea of the experience that will be possible to live using an Oculus Quest 2 viewer, where it will arrive exclusively on PC. Of course, the horror-themed adventure will be playfully different from the original since the view will no longer be behind Leon, but we will switch to a first-person camera, made even more immersive thanks to the potential of the viewer. Capcom has also revisited some of the game’s environmental puzzles, in order to make them more functional to the new view and controls for VR. As for the graphics sector, there do not seem to be particular differences with the HD edition of the game published in 2014.

Leaving you to watch the gameplay video, we remind you that Resident Evil 4 VR will be officially available starting from October 21st exclusively on Oculus Quest 2, the latest of the Facebook Virtual Reality viewers family. In the meantime, we look forward to receiving news on the much-rumored Resident Evil 4 Remake.
