The release of No More Heroes 3 exclusively for Nintendo Switch is getting closer and closer: Travis Touchdown fans will be able to enjoy the new adventure starting next 27 August 2021, the date on which Suda51’s latest effort will be available both in digital version than in physical edition.
Speaking of the retail versions, there is a surprise for collectors: Pix’n Love has revealed that they are working on two different special editions for the new episode of the No More Heroes series, both fairly rich in content. The first of these, the Collector’s Edition, in addition to the base game will offer an artbook, lithographs and a numbered certificate of authenticity. The second, the Deluxe Edition, will instead be produced in a limited edition (only 500 pieces) and in addition to all the contents provided by the Collector’s will also have the soundtrack of the game on vinyl and the certificate of authenticity signed by Suda51. Pre-orders of both versions will be active on Pix’n Love Publishing starting tomorrow 8 July at 5pm. We also remember that there is also the Killion Dollar Trilogy of No More Heroes 3 which also includes the first two chapters.
Fourth title in the series (also counting the spin-off Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes released in 2019), No More Heroes 3 promises to prove to be an adrenaline-pumping Action / Adventure in line with the style of its predecessors and will see Travis return to the city of Santa Destroy to defend the world from an alien invasion led by a galactic prince and his 10 assassins. To get a taste of the game, here’s a No More Heroes 3 gameplay video focused on violent combos.
