Switch version and ‘total’ Cross-Save coming with update 2.0?

The blockbuster action role of MiHoYo is preparing to welcome one of the most important updates, judging by the latest advances on the update 2.0 of Genshin Impact leaked online.

As reported by the GenshinReport collective, MiHoYo’s free-to-play fantasy adventure will enter its 2.0 phase bringing many new features. In addition to the recent Ayaka and Yoimika leaks from Genshin Impact, the update in question should introduce cross-platform Cross Save.

Starting from the indiscretions of the most accredited “deep throats” of Genshin Impact, the curators of the social portal of GenshinReport say they are sure of the arrival of “total” Cross Save between PC, PS4, PS5 and iOS and Android mobile systems. The 2.0 update (although in the official numbering it could be version 1.7) should be launched simultaneously with the arrival of Genshin Impact on the Nintendo Switch: even the repeatedly rumored Nintendian transposition of the free fantasy RPG, according to the leakers, should boast support for Cross Save with all other PC, console and mobile editions.

On the gameplay front, however, the most important and representative novelty of the next update should be the addition of the Inazuma region, a vast area to explore freely and in which to get lost in order to enhance one’s alter-ego.
