Waiting to discover the mysterious nature of the next multiplayer and next gen game of Hangar 13, the software house author of the Mafia series sees a change at the top.
The founder of the team, Haden Blackman, has in fact announced the decision to leave the creative group, after having held the role of Studio Head for a long time. After more than seven years of militancy in Hangar 13 and 2K, Blackman has made known his desire to embark on a new professional adventure, on which he has not yet raised the curtain. For a long time, the author has contributed to the realization of multiple projects dedicated to Star Wars, from Star Wars: Unleashed to the script of comics set in the Far Far Galaxy.
Taking the reins of Hangar 13 will now be Nick Baynes, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the video game industry. The latter entered the software house only in 2018, but has since led the activities of Hangar 13 Brighton. Additionally, Nick Baynes managed the launch of Mafia: Definitive Edition and the entire Mafia Trilogy. The software house, therefore, seems to be in excellent hands: all that remains is to wait for the first official announcements regarding what will be the next projects of Hangar 13.
