Over the last few days we have been talking more and more often about the arrival of tricks for Call of Duty Warzone that make use of artificial intelligence and that could also land on PlayStation and Xbox, ruining the experience of console players.
Precisely for this reason, Activision has begun to take the first measures against this kind of cheat, in order to curb its spread. In this regard, the giant of the gaming industry has started targeting all those YouTube channels that publish demonstration videos to encourage players to buy these illegal software after seeing what they are able to do. Activision’s first action was in fact to permanently close one of these channels and thus gain time to counter the phenomenon before it begins to spread in a worrying way. This is an action that does not directly affect users who use it, but it is likely that a tool is already in the works to identify and hit console players who take advantage of these new methods to have an advantage in console battle royale.
While waiting to learn more about Activision’s strategy to stop the cheater phenomenon, we remind you that Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 4 Reloaded will arrive next week.
