After unleashing the discontent among Sony users due to the absence of Ray Tracing at launch, the developers of Bloober Team have intervened again on the PlayStation 5 version of The Medium to fill the technical gap of his horror game.
As reported in the twitter you find at the bottom of the news, Bloober Team has confirmed that The Medium patch 1.02 is now available for download on PS5. The paranormal game thus welcomes Ray Tracing also on the Sony console, for a visual impact that will undoubtedly benefit from it.
The update includes further new features, including a general performance improvement (stuttering issues were encountered at launch) and support for the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback, a feature exclusively present on PS5. Bloober then closed the intervention by announcing that the problem that currently afflicts the Trophy system will soon be solved, and at the same time thanked the players who collaborated with the studio to investigate the matter.
The Medium is available now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. If you’re curious to find out all about Bloober Team’s new version of paranormal horror, we invite you to catch up on our review of The Medium for PS5.
