the upgrade to PS5 costs only £ 5 in the UK

We are getting closer and closer to the official debut of Death Stranding Director’s Cut, the revised and enriched version of the latest effort by Kojima Productions expected to launch on September 24th. Details regarding the cost of upgrading to the PS5 version had already been released, but it looks like things are a little different in the UK.

As specified by the PlayStation UK Twitter account, British players already in possession of a copy of Death Stranding will be lucky enough to win the next-gen upgrade for just 5 pounds. At the publication of the post, someone understandably thought of a mistake, considering that Sony had previously confirmed the 10 euros / dollars as the price to pay for the upgrade. However, it was pointed out with a second message that what was reported is correct: the specified cost was related only to the European and North American market, while a decision regarding the United Kingdom had not yet been made.

Recall that among the unreleased contents that will debut in the PS5 version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut we have the environmental effects rendered through haptic feedback and support for the adaptive triggers of DualSense, support for 3D Audio, extremely reduced loading times and two game modes : Performance in upscaled 4K and up to 60 FPS, or Fidelity in native 4K, both with HDR and ultra-wide support. There are also more weapons, new equipment and vehicles, new modes, a renewed Social Strand System, missions and areas to explore which will further enrich the plot.
