Todd Howard’s confirmation

During an AMA (Ask My Anything) session recently held on the reddit pages, Bethesda’s Todd Howard returned to discuss the highly anticipated Starfield, confirming how the company’s Sci-Fi work will traditionally present mod support.

Considering the technological revamp implemented by Bethesda to update its Creation Engine to modern standards, many were curious to know what type of mod Starfield would have supported. Howard has stated that the Sci-Fi title will offer full mod support, and will not fail to give space to the creative freedom of its community.

“Our plan [รจ di] to have full support for mods like our previous games, “Howard said.” Our modding community has been with us for 20 years. We love what they do and we hope to see others who make a career out of it. “

Bethesda’s Creation Club is an extensive roster of mods localized, refined, tested, and then sold by the company after the material is handed over by a fan. Bethesda games welcome new weapons, clothes, completely new locations, characters, creatures and new types of gameplay in this way. Most likely, it is also through this service that Starfield will be enriched in the future with many fanmade additions.

Starfield will be released on November 11, 2022 on Windows PC and Xbox Series X | S. The date of the game is written in ink but a postponement cannot be ruled out. For further information, please refer to our Starfield Preview.
