unveiled the weight of the Beta on PlayStation 5

Putting an end to speculation and leaks, DICE has finally confirmed that the Battlefield 2042 Beta will take place from 6 to 9 September. Now the first information about the weight of the application that PlayStation 5 owners will have to download are emerging.

As revealed by the always active PlayStation Game Size account, it will be necessary to download 16.8GB of data to install the content package included in the Battlefield 2042 Beta on PS5. This is an overall modest figure, which however could expand with the updates following the launch of the playtest phase. In any case, users should be able to immerse themselves in the new war experience in a short time, also considering that they will be able to preload the file as early as October 5.

We remind you that the Battlefield 2042 Beta will be accessible from 6 to 7 September only to those who have pre-ordered the DICE shooter or are subscribers to EA Play and / or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. From 8 to 9 September all the other players will be able to join the battle, eager to try the title firsthand. PlayStation Plus will not be required to participate in this trial, while Xbox Live Gold does.
